Review on WMLBK Double Headed Stainless Dispenser Barbecue by Chris Harrington

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The first spray leaked horribly, the second was great!

We finally broke down and bought a fryer like all Americans do in 2020. The only problem was that everything had to be drizzled with a little oil before putting it in the fryer or the results wouldn't be amazing. (We didn't know that at first and were very disappointed). After downing a can or two of Pam, I couldn't shake off the extravagance and the unflattering, unpleasant *chemical* taste. I knew we needed an atomizer/sprayer but almost all of them had terrible reviews. Leaking, broken, questionable parts etc... and then we found it and have no regrets. We use pages for individual oils because we're just not in the "vinegar spray" family. We have EVOO on one side and rapeseed on the other (different smoke points, different flavors). We have marked them with markers on the tape to distinguish them and have been using it for a few weeks now. The one-handle squirt is AMAZING for fryer dishes, great for basting a baking sheet with minimal oil, basting a pizza pan before baking, a few spritzes for steamed veggies, etc. Perfect! I've found myself using a ton less oil and haven't had any major issues so far. I have two likes/dislikes but they are minor and "pie in the sky"... 1. I would like a different button configuration. I want them to be triggers and not buttons at the top.2. I wish there was only one window so the oil window was visible and the rest was occlusal - lungs spoil oils, especially EVOO, so having a transparent canister is suboptimal. The oil would last longer if it was occlusive rather than opaque. Some of the results I've noticed to look out for: - When you first clean it, wash and spray with soap and water as often as you like. ...you cannot COMPLETELY remove water from the nozzle/tube without replacing it with oil. If you don't spread it before filling, you'll end up with a thick layer of oil/water droplets. I poured a SMALL amount of oil on both sides, splashed a little in the trash can, and then poured the oil in the container because floating water got into the canister. Fill with oil and you're done. It shouldn't leak. GENERAL. If so maybe a part is missing like the first one we got - there was no rubber part so oil was leaking out of it. This part is REQUIRED so be sure to clean it using the steps above, fill with some oil and make sure nothing comes out if you tip over. If something shoots, dump it and return it. Just two uses of the holey one made it SUPER slippery.
