Review on HongWay 21 Pack Black S Hooks: Heavy Duty Kitchen Pan-Pot, Outdoor Hanging Plants, Wardrobe, Bathroom, Bedroom, and Office Organizer in Three Sizes by Eddie Breezy

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good choice, not enough small and medium for my purpose.

I bought these because I needed very short hooks to replace the oversized 5 inch hooks that came with a dish rack I bought elsewhere. There are three sizes, and although I was mostly interested in the smallest, the middle one is fine for my purposes. Good to know: The larger rounded end hole is smaller on the smaller hooks, so much so that they don't fit in my tube rack. A quick try to distribute them didn't work, but I can try another method. Large and medium sizes easily fit in a rack. S hooks are so useful for so many uses around the house that I probably won't be returning them even if I can't scale up the smallest one to fit. I have noticed that kitchen shelf hook prices vary. There's no shortage of choices unless you're looking for very short ones. The only other advice I can give is to measure your hanging space and utensils before ordering. The distance from my counter to the bottom of the wall cabinets is standard 18 inches, but the 5 inch hooks mentioned above keep my dishes on my flat countertop. If your target is under a closet, choose your installation location carefully. I mounted mine to the bottom of the closet, not the wall. I can also suggest a quick and dirty method that I used before. Screw strong magnetic tape to the bottom of your cabinets (I used an inexpensive knife rack) and then install the magnetic dish hooks. (I didn't want to put strong magnets on the underside of my overrange MW for fear they would damage the electronics.) I don't think I spent more than $20 for the magnetic method. Not perfect, but worked for a very long time, although sometimes the heaviest objects fell.
