This is a great scratching post that our cat loves. It is very durable. He likes baskets best. He curls up in it and sleeps for a while. Gets up, stretches and goes to another basket. I would give 5 if the instructions weren't so bad. It shows a drawing with numbers identifying parts. Then it has the length of the pieces in centimeters. You need to measure them before you start. One differs only 1 centimeter from the other parts. The instructions say to start at the bottom and work your way up. I made it, but when I got to the first apartment I had to disassemble everything and start from the top. There was no way I could attach the bars to the flat that way. As I started at the top and went down, it got easier. I would buy this again. Worth the money if you have an active cat like us.
