Having bought this product I am not sure I will ever buy a Daystar product again and would not recommend it to anyone. My experience may be unique, but my two star rating comes down to no quality assurance or customer service. When I received this package it was missing all the hardware to install. I contacted Daystar and a week went by with no response. A week after I called they told me to email my name and address and a picture of what I received and they would send me the gear. Shortly after the call ended, I emailed and waited. No Answer. Another week went by so I called again and they said my case was marked as processed. This time I asked the representative if they could email shortly after if it was yes or no for me to get the equipment and if possible and when the representative said no problem and hung up, I always have no reply yet and it's been a week. I decided to just buy my own hardware, which is relatively cheap after all, but not particularly easy to find unless you go to a hardware store. Due to the fine thread pitch/automotive threads, they are rare to find and not often available at hardware stores like Lowe's, Home Depot or Ace. At least not for the sale of individual devices. Once I found the hardware and followed the installation using the instructions provided which I had to look up myself because I didn't get them either, the installation makes absolutely no sense to the end user, especially if you're buying this for a non-Trailhawk Model. YouTube is the best course. With all that said and done, I wired everything up and found that the driver's side lamp bracket is not welded flush, resulting in a tilt that can cause the light to be mounted at an angle. At this point I honestly wasn't surprised to see this, just disappointed as I was looking forward to shedding some light on them soon. I also need to figure out how to work around this issue myself as I won't be changing it to another that requires more trying to contact Daystar. It's sad that I had to write this, I never see things through and my name is Karen. I gave it two stars because I find the concept of the product really amazing. The look is nice and aggressive, and I appreciate anyone who makes aftermarket stuff for the Renegade. Just a shame my experience was so lame. Update: They sent me a new one and I think it might be a real joke at this point. More horrible welds for the light mounts, and this time I have two bolts and nuts to attach the rod to the mounts, which takes four. unbelievable.
