This bike repair stand exceeds my high expectations. I bought this repair stand a few days ago and it arrived without a single page of documentation but it wasn't necessary other than maybe an exploded view with the name and part numbers. After ascertaining that the four pre-drilled holes in the base plate (mounting flange) were a quarter inch in diameter, and then after a quick trip to the local hardware store for screws, lock washers and nuts, I quickly and easily installed the base plate on my workbench and then attached the remaining two parts (I would call them "horizontal extension" and "clamp mount") to the installed base. When assembled this stand doesn't look like what I've seen in bike shops, but I think it works better, is more thoughtfully designed and keeps the bike stable. Everything about the installed stand indicates that its developers knew what they were doing. and understood my needs! As far as I've tried, there isn't any bike position or angle that can't be achieved with this stand. Once installed, the clamp hooked onto the bike and all mounting bolts on the stand were firmly in place. I like that the clamp rotates a full 360 degrees so it can bite vertically or horizontally or anywhere in between, and it can be adjusted to accommodate a large frame tube, even one with the bolt heads within the jaw range. I can't find anything wrong with this bike assembly stand.
