These gloves are definitely nice to have in the kitchen. I think they are quite effective on the fingertips, but I would say there is a slight flaw in the location of the hand between the center of the palm and the fingers. It's just a thin layer and all that was really there was the fabric. I would say be careful to fully shrink a hot device. The remaining parts of The Gloves are fairly heat resistant. I would easily carry a hot pot or tray. It's easy to clean. I recommend only machine wash cold and air dry. If you put it in the dryer it will most likely shrink due to the material. Another thing I would like to say is that the product only has heated parts and the entire glove is not 100 percent heat resistant as far as I can tell. They look great and are very easy to store in drawers and the like. Overall, these gloves are great for small trays and the like.
