Looks cool but mine must be broken

I saw many reviews on this product before purchasing Superdanny which initially were good reviews about the functionality of this product. So don't forget to press the button at the top to turn on the Superdanny. There is a small RED reset button on the side. DO NOT CLICK THIS unless you want to quit your Superdanny extension for a second. I got curious and accidentally did it while my Xbox was connected to it. (In short, it wasn't cool). Most importantly, and this seemed rather annoying to me at the time, was the HEAT generated at the top of the Superdanny's power node when I placed my phone on it for a wireless connection. Accusation. IT WAS EXCESSIVE, so much so that I had to remove it from my desktop for fear it would burn my house down. So I kept it in my fully tiled kitchen on a granite countertop away from anything which would help keep the fire from spreading if it somehow accidentally ignited and then everything was fine. It was working fine there until yesterday when a decision was made to suddenly stop wireless charging. all the phones that have been placed on it. In few words, great product idea. I just think I got a defective one or the material this thing is made of is just terrible for a product as advertised on Amazon to have its full potential. .
