I just bought this for my friend's 14 year old girl as I also bought her lots of other school entry stuff to help her with schoolwork. Really well made and designed so you can put a lot of connectors in it. There are 8 3-pin sockets, giving enough space for large power adapters, and the plugs are positioned correctly so they can either be placed opposite each other or side by side. There are 3 regular USB ports and 1 USB-C port to power anything with these plugs. I don't know how the surge protector works until there's a power outage/surge protector, which doesn't happen very often, but you never know, so I'll update this if there are any issues with this power strip/surge protector.
