A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.
Previously, there was the SportContact 5 (Audi A6, quattro, R18) generation. When I fitted the PremiumContact 6, I was extremely pleasantly pleased because the tires are in no way inferior to the SportContact 5 in terms of grip and responsiveness, while at the same time they are very much superior to the SportContact 5 in terms of comfort and noise. I was shocked by how much better the PremiumContact 6 tires are. These tires, along with the rest of the Continental product line as a whole, can be seen of as a significant advancement.
- On both dry and rainy conditions, the vehicle has excellent grip and steering response. On the other hand, it is quite quiet and has a very smooth operation. When I was buying it, I gave it great consideration according to a number of different tests; at the time, in late spring of 2022, in almost all tests, it was a long way ahead of competitors in wet handling. In my opinion, this is the criterion that places the highest importance on quality.
- Although it was lower than on SportContact 5, my consumption during the season was still a significant amount.
