Review on 🔒 C.T.Johnson Stainless Steel Receiver Hitch Lock - RH3SS 2-Inch by Patrick Goodrich

I looked everywhere and didn't trust some of the half price locks - they had too much Chinese metal in them. I really liked the locking mechanism in some of the high end foreign locks as they were made of brass which theoretically eliminates a big problem. (How many of you have had to hammer in an old lock, apply WD40, or saw it off?) This one is made of high-quality stainless steel, but it's hard to tell how good the lock's internal workings are, what it's made of, and how it will withstand the elements keep. I hope that many parts of the locking mechanism are also made of stainless steel and brass. It's attractive. I also like the keys as they aren't molded with a bunch of plastic around the key itself so it doesn't add size to the key ring. I have no regrets spending more money on such an important part that just has to be reliable. I filled the lock with grease, I hope it outlasts me.
