in the manual there is not much information about the various settings (it is very vague), to say the least. That's why I didn't give 5 stars. Great work so far, I've only had it one day and have just tried different rod sizes and it's working well. Do not hesitate and can stretch the seam for some time. Used 1/8 E7018, E 6013 and 3/32 6011. Still working well after a few months of use. The only problem I have is that I thought it was supposed to have a hot start. Poles don't start well until they warm up. Glow at the end of the rod. Still a good unit for the price, all you need is AC stick welding.
