Easy Peasy, great product, great price!

This is a very well made, sturdy TV wall mount. Love love love this. I looked everywhere and this was one that met all my criteria (retractable arm, tilt, pivot, well made, easy for 1 person) with reviews to back it up. I read all the reviews about them all but paid special attention to 1, 2 and 3 stars. There you will find the best information before you watch 4 and 5! This fit the bill and I was not disappointed. Well, if you have the basic tools - a drill, a socket wrench with a ratchet (I don't), the whole process takes about 10-15 minutes. I don't have a stand finder (a stand is a must for drywall/plaster walls). But I have a strong magnet and I found my pens easily by simply sweeping it across the wall and then vertically once I found the peg I wanted to use. Typically, a stud is just to the left or right of the outlet, and then 16 inches to the left or right of that to the next stud. I marked the nails I found on the shelf where I wanted to attach the hanger to avoid climbing on one of them. I don't have a drill so I hammered in a thin nail, pulled it out, then a thicker nail, pulled it out to drill a hole for the top screw (they're big and thick). I aligned the top hanger hole over my hole and marked where the bottom hanger hole was, then took the necklace out of the top hole (I don't have an aligner) to check and make sure it lines up perfectly. A ratcheting socket wrench would be great, but I don't have one, so I manually twisted and turned the screws in the wall that hold the hanger in place (turn the hanger counterclockwise if you're right-handed). 2 seconds to attach the plate to the back of the TV. I recommend practicing attaching the plate to the hanger BEFORE attaching it to the TV. It's basic, but then you can see how it should sit and how the position of the bolts that hold it in the hanger determine the lean/no-lean. Also, move your hand to see how easy it is to position them. Pull out the bracket, fit the plate, now attached to the TV, into the slots, insert 2 simple screws, insert the fixings into the back of the TV, position where you want and you're done! Find your hairpin. Drill 2. Holes Attach the hanger to the wall Attach the plate to the TV Hang the TV to the hanger Done. You were right as advertised. 1 person can do it. Even with minimal tools! Highly recommended product, well finished.
