I've been using it for about 3 or 4 years, the service has been reliable and the support has been very good in the past. The battery monitor (2 batteries), bilge pump monitor (2 pumps) and motion sensor were all reliable and I think they are fairly accurate. There were several false positives from the motion sensor that could be a flying insect or spider. The alarm function is fast and the map view in the app is reassuring. The battery consumption is so low that it is not a problem. This summer of 2018, I started having issues with the anchor alert feature (I get an alert as soon as I set it, or if I set it to a lower value than the service allows, I wouldn't get any notifications at all). All other functions and reports continued to work as usual. (I suspected a software bug). Support said set the value to 500 yards. THE? The support guy tried to justify this by saying that the anchor alarm isn't really meant to warn you when your anchor pulls. He said it was intended as a theft alert in case the boat was stolen. I told him the anchor alarm should warn if the anchor is dragging and given today's <10ft GPS accuracy the 25 yard setting should solve the trade-off of avoiding false alarms due to error and towing alerts. I couldn't agree on that. I set it at 500 yards and still got an instant anchor warning. He told me I could buy a new one and send in the old one and if a problem was found they would issue a partial credit for the purchase. If no problems are found I can get a full refund for the new device and return my old one. Industrial fair. Fast forwarding about 30 days and I didn't send out my "suspect" squad but decided to try the anchor again. About miracles - works without an instant alarm. I was able to set it to 25 meters in the iOS app, but no less than 35 meters in the web interface. I left it at 35 yards and will check again this weekend. I've found in the past that if I set it too small, it wouldn't set off an alarm. Either way, it's a great device when it works, and other than that bug, it's been reliable. I can't vouch for any support lately but it is still in the US and they are responding in a timely manner. As far as a product with cellular connectivity goes, overall it's good value for money. Other remote notification solutions I've seen are more expensive or have fewer features.
