Legs are amazing. This allows you to mount various objects that otherwise could not be mounted on a tripod. However, I can only recommend it for light or sound. This tripod isn't capable of supporting any kind of weight like a DSLR and we're talking about a Sony A7 with a kit lens. The supplied ball head is also cheap and the 1/4 thread does not remain tight. As I said, suitable for super light equipment, otherwise buy a Joby.
