I'm 7.1/2 feet and they go perfectly with my new winter boots. I have washed them and they are holding up well. The thickness is just right for me. I don't want my socks to be so thick that I can't move my toes. I'd say it's about halfway down the street. They also come in earth tones which is a plus for me.
