I was quite disappointed when I opened the box to these boots. They looked rather cheap as part of the white rubber toe had a small strip that wanted to peel off. They were relatively comfortable with regard to fit (I am a 7.5 and ordered an 8 as half sizes weren't available). The "fur" on the inside also felt cheap, not something soft that you wanted to keep touching. They lace pretty easily and I have yet to wear them in the upcoming blizzard that I purchased them for. This is one of the main reasons I'm not returning them (because I need them for Storm Jonas). Maybe my expectations were too high for $50 boots. I may add to this review after the snow storm. Based on the reviews I read before purchasing, I was expecting an excellent pair of boots. Also, I have plantar fasciitis, so I usually need extra support anyway. I used a shoe insert and felt it helped the support a little. Maybe my feet are needy and these boots didn't quite cut it.
