Antennas require trust and prayer to stay connected

I did a lot of research for a new system build, including making sure I had an M.2 WiFi card slot and find a reputable, well-established branded WiFi card with the latest WiFi 6 standard. Perhaps I should have paid more attention to the negative reviews. I don't know why there are so many good reviews for a card with such an obvious design flaw. Connected to the smallest of the thin connectors by two thin wires, the card antenna is seemingly protected by hopes and prayers, for the slightest breath of wind touching the card, or a stern look at it, is enough to sever the antenna wires from the M .2 card, and all the king horses and all the royal people will never attach those antennae to a card again. I received it with attached cables or not. I simply took the card out of the packaging and the antenna wires fell off immediately. I must have spent an hour or more reconnecting the wires to no avail. I really wanted this card to work! no bones I finally gave up and conceded defeat by returning the card. I was so frustrated with the concept of an M.2 card with cables and an antenna that I changed course and just bought a WiFi 6 PCIe expansion card without a chance to repeat the experience. I am very happy with the PCIe WiFi 6 card. Don't repeat my mistake. I don't know how any of these cards work for anyone. The antenna connection is the worst I have ever seen. Maybe they use them because they think antennas are optional? I do not know. This card never made it into my system.
