These curtains are 100% blackout. I bought the white ones and even those will keep the room dark during the day so our baby can sleep. The white ones do have a black lining but I can’t see it through the white.Heavy, thick material. Nice soft fabric as well, not the typical stiff fabric most curtains are. It does come pretty wrinkled but I just used my hand steamer and they’re perfect.It’s summer here now and the room has stayed cool during the day when these are closed. I’ll be interested to see if they work as well in the winter to keep heat in.Bottom line, these are good quality curtains that do what they say.
