I don't think of myself as a demanding person, but my feet to seem to hurt a lot so I really expect a shoe to help me stay active rather than amplify my weakness. These do the job.Because I've had no prior experience with this brand and because a hunting boot is a fairly technical product, I was prepared to be disappointed. However, I've just come back from an hour's walk in a State Park in a foot of snow at 32 degrees Fahrenheit and I'm happy to report that these boots performed well.Though they run a trifle large, they provide my feet with the support they crave. In the conditions I've mentioned, there was no hint of damp or cold around my feet, even though I was walking in snow that came up over the top of my tightly laced boots.The boots go on and off with ease. The bottom half of the engagement with the laces are eyelets and the top half are hooks.Though I'm basing this review on one intense episode of use, they do feel like boots that will continue to perform well as they're broken in.
