This is a beautifully made replica of an old pedal sewing machine and would make a great gift for a friend. I was given this item to wear on the lapel of my black denim jacket but the tags were a little too prominent for my liking. However, it was a huge hit as a gift from a dear friend who shares my love of vintage sewing machines and fiber arts. The pin's enamel finish is of good quality and the double pin/backing clasps keep it in place without moving. The gift box is beautifully designed and the harlequin mosaic inner box provides neat storage and protection. It would be a lovely gift and my friend got quite a few compliments on it.
