We hung them on our closet doors and they were just horrible because the spice jars banged against the wooden door and metal bar every time the door was closed. was open and closed. To fix this I rebuilt 2 items I had at home. I used a 12x12 foot sheet of bubble wrap with small bubbles on it first. I wrapped it around the bottom rail and secured it with clear tape. The bubble wrap then continued at the bottom, then folded over the back about 2 inches above the back bar and then behind that front. It works well. Second, I cut the soft part of the 10 inch piece of Velcro in half and attached it to the top of the button placket on the inside of the placket. NOW these spice jars make no noise at all when opening and closing the door. They still jump, but silently. Another issue I anticipate is that if the spice jars tip over, they could fall out of the ends. This was definitely an issue when we first installed the organizer. But now I think the bubble wrap will keep them from slipping.
