This case replaces the Griffin Survivor case I installed in January 2014 on the day I bought my first iPad, the Mini 2 with Retina display. Eventually, the plastic clips and rubber covers of the ports gave way - they fell off or snapped at the griffin, prompting me to find a replacement case. The first impression is disappointing. Front protection is not offered, so keep that in mind. The fit, finish, and general "feel" of this case is significantly worse. The edges/edges of the screen frame are uneven and do not adhere to the silicone frame, although they have been massaged to try and fit the frame perfectly. The built-in kickstand is cool, but feels even weaker than the Griffin Survivor (which didn't last long either). Overall I don't think this product has any value as the Griffin was $50 in 2014 and $20 in 2021 I definitely got what I paid for - half the product for less than half the price!
