As far as digital thermometers go, I was really impressed by this little device. One feature I like is that it has a backlit display that makes it easy to read in low light. Just open the dipstick and it turns itself on, and just close the dipstick and it turns off, it's that simple. The meat thermometer is really very fast - it reads the temperature almost instantly and seems very accurate . Should have bought one of those meat thermometers years ago! Highly recommended.
