Shelf won't fall

I was concerned about the size as our original Lionhead/Rex rabbit litter box was three times larger. I use cat litter in this little new litter box, then add some wood shavings for the first few uses to familiarize the smell. Actually put it in the big tray and eat the hay in the rest of the room. There are bumps on the floor that make the litter box difficult to clean. The rabbit "sucks" in the litter every day, the granules fall through. Will be cheaper than our puppy bed/wooden bed method we used before.
