I didn't have the same issues as some of the other reviewers. This product comes with a suggested bullet removal method which, if followed, will make it easier to remove. Since the base is VERY strong plastic, care must be taken when twisting (and accidentally dropping it). I broke normal ice cube trays like that. The reason for 4 stars in the Ease of Use category is the content. It's hard to see when full because of the black silicone. If the silicone was transparent, I think it would make the filling less messy.
