I haven't had a chance to test the functionality of this controller with this lighting kit, but most controllers of this type are generic for driving RGBIC strips. These controllers aren't necessarily easy to use, but for enthusiasts, they're a great way to explore the amazing variations of what IC strip lighting is capable of. Comparing Hue or BTF-LIGHTING Smart WiFi LED Strip Light to LIFX Z, I found that LIFX Z has the best colors, maximum versatility and the best app, but is also the most expensive. In terms of color matching, this BTF LIGHTING model is as close as you can get, priced about a sixth (or less) of the LIFX Z. As for the SceneX app, I had a bit of an issue connecting to the lights via WiFi, but once connected the connection remained stable. The application has several pre-programmed lighting modes and allows you to synchronize them with music. One area the app is currently missing is the preset color adjustment panel. I don't really like adding an app for a single product, but these lights can also be controlled via connected or remote controls. This product, BTF-LIGHTING Smart WiFi LED Strip Light, is of exceptionally high quality, especially at this price point. Point. Other kits I compared to were about 6-8 times more expensive for this number of linear feet - I chose them because they have the most similar characteristics. In terms of value and functionality, this is an amazing LED strip kit. which I definitely recommend.
