Review on Tuffinix Digital Touchscreen Food Thermometer with Instant Read, 40in Probe, Oven Safe for Cooking BBQ Frying Pan Smoker Kitchen Cooking – Meat Thermometer by Sophia Wells

I got this touchscreen digital food thermometer from Tuffinix and have used it a few times. This is a fairly basic thermometer and works well. They stick colored stripes on different parts of the screen, which makes it easier to see when the backlight is on, but when the backlight is off it's almost impossible to read, and you have to touch one of the touchscreen buttons to see it. It doesn't turn off temperature/time, it's just very dim with no backlight. It has multiple settings for different meats, which is good so you don't have to guess what the 'recommended' temperatures are for chicken or steak etc. I tested it with another thermometer I have and both were within a degree of each other so that seems pretty accurate. It's very simple but works well. If you are picky or cook a lot you might want to look for a more advanced appliance for simple basic needs, this works great!
