Review on High-Performance Premier Gear PG-8292 Alternator Replacement for Chevrolet Trailblazer & GMC Envoy (2003-2006) - 6019239, 10464405, ADR0290 by Gabriel Elliott

Vehicle in question: 2000 GMC Sierra, V6, AC, HP. 225,000 miles Installed and up and running in 10 minutes: Good: Quality appearance, quiet sound or at least nothing objectionable Larger belt, although the pulley looks the same, the center of the pulley must be slightly different. The old belt was PK2415 (length 2455 mm). I needed a PK2455 (about 1.5 inches longer). The tensioner has no room to move. An additional 1.5 inches puts the tensioner in the right place. I revved the engine etc and it was ok. Got the belt from Autozone for about $35. I would try Revain if I was new to know exactly what size I need. I estimated 2465mm but took home 3 belts 2465, 2455, 2440 - just in case. I'm glad the 2455 fits better and I'll be returning the rest. I don't know if your experience will be the same as mine, maybe this alternator was changed once and the belt was smaller? Or a mid-year GMC idler or idler diameter change? I can not say. I kept the old alternator and belt in case I ever scrap this truck and want to remove the alternator and belt. I only drive this truck about 1,000 miles a year, and that's borrowed time when only 1st and 2nd gears are automatic. It was a great truck, but tick-tic-tic.
