I bought a new 27" monitor and wanted to swivel it in different directions, adjust its height etc. - everything that a fixed stand cannot do. The monitor was heavier than me expected and I doubted this mount (the cheapest I could find on Revain) would hold it.various screws, washers and plastic studs to ensure a tight fit no matter what size or brand your monitor is.It lasted It took me a few minutes of trial and error to find a combination that worked for my monitor but when I did the panel adhered perfectly and if I wanted to I could easily detach the monitor from the mount and place it on the original stand with no problem the plate breaks to support the extra weight of the monitor There are three points on the bracket (hex head screws) that you can use to adjust the height e, the "elbow" of the arm and the tilt of the monitor can be adjusted. All of these points can be tightened or loosened using the included hex wrenches. IMPORTANT: ONLY USE THESE ALLEN KEYS. NEVER USE A POWER TOOL. Socket head screws can easily break off if too much force is applied. Adjustment with the screws removed is impossible, and removing it is a headache (trust me). This is a great stand and I would recommend it to anyone.
