I have never used this product before and even made a silicone mold. But as a maker of candles and melting waxes, this definitely saves me some money and increases the uniqueness of the candles and melting waxes. I had an old gingerbread candle many years ago that I wanted to recreate. I've searched the whole form for the right size and thickness, but did he find anything... put in the product given! Works perfectly! Blends easily, no smell, no mess and ready in 6 hours like they said, although I left it in twice that before pulling it out! However, I screwed up and made the bottom layer too thin, so I plan on buying more of this stuff and tweaking how I use it. But the first try and I'm happy! I read some reviews that didn't install it and had no problems with this part. What I can do next is make the bottom part face up instead of face down and that way I know the thickness of the bottom part is ok. TO UPDATE. I ordered a second set and tried to make a pillar candle mold and it worked great. However, the stick molds may need to be lubricated as they are very sticky inside. Also, one of the bottle's caps was leaking a bit and had a bit of a mess inside...nothing major, but a simple ziplock bag would probably be a good idea to ship. For the post shape I bought a large plastic cup made out of dollar wood and when I unpacked it I simply cut the glass with scissors and was able to snap it apart... BE CAREFUL with this method as the edges are sharp but I wore gardening gloves . The mug was immediately thrown away...hence the fact that I bought it from a dollar tree. It actually came in a set of 3 so I used less than 40 scents and the candle shape came out perfect! I'm also including a picture of my form from this set and the form I bought side-by-side from Revain! The size difference is incredible. In the attached picture the white post shape is the LARGE shape I ordered from Revain and the teal is the one I made from a medium post I had laying around at home. I'm still learning how to use this stuff and it takes some practice but it's definitely worth it and this stuff works! Also, I got it to hand and there was no response. It didn't smell either!
