I have been using Tough Armor on my Galaxy S6 for 4 years and have noticed a difference in quality. The only one I believe was molded in colored plastic compared to this one where it is painted/polished (metal bronze pictured). This finish was a lot better than I thought it would be in this case and was quite stiff. Yes, if you mistreat the case and drop it or drag it across sandpaper it will of course get scratched. Come on guys this is not an expensive case so you need to change your expectations. If it was a $50 case similar to the Pelican case then yes, I would expect it to keep its color (like the old one) and only show scratches. It's a relatively cheap price though, so I think for the price it does a great job of protecting the phone and the finish is what I expected, great for the price! Would buy again! UPDATE: Now that I have my phone in my pocket, some additional thoughts that don't generally change my take on what I wrote above. The rear feels a bit smoother than previous cases, but the rubber side grips seem to have enough grip for me. I believe the slippery feel on the back was an added coating to help those who say it scratches and peels. The top and bottom lips offer plenty of room if you decide to lay your phone face down. Overall I am very satisfied and will continue to use it. All buttons are very easy to use and the corners are not sharp. The power button is a bit higher to reach me (from the S6) but the Bixby button has a very different texture and is longer as can be seen in the pictures. The case has a great design and I am still very happy with it.
