This dog tent can be made into a fantastic travel box. It is lightweight and folds down to the size of a camp chair in a carry bag. Most importantly, the entire door is not mesh. My Canadian Eskimo dog quickly learned that opening the grate on the travel crate doors was fun and no matter how expensive they all use it. However, this dog tent has a mesh top and is mostly made of a hard material. Ideally! It is very easy to set up and not that easy (but still easy) to take down. The size may be a little small for some large breeds. We are of a riding breed (about the size of a husky) and can pass with some flex/power and barely turn inwards. The floor seemed a bit slippery to the dog so a mat or bed is a must. Overall very happy with this product.
