Of course they are not quite like in the picture. The biggest change, however, isn't the finish line. The ones I received have a full bullet instead of a half bullet. This change suits me. And for the most part, they work just as well as the Starrett set in the quality control room. Do not get me wrong. They're inferior in quality to the Starrett set in every way, but I paid $13 vs. $160 for the Starrett. I'm docking a star because the smallest just doesn't fit. Probably on a Friday afternoon from a guy who's had three beers already. So just think of it as a 5mm to 13mm set and you're good to go.
