I bought it on purpose because phenoxyethanol was not used as a preservative. I love that the highest concentration of ingredients is water and aloe, rather than surfactants and preservatives. They are safe for sewers and septic tanks. This is what the wipe should say when you flash it. There is a difference between "flushable" and "safe for sewers and septic tanks". 100% plant based instead of cotton means they will fall apart. Unlike some other wipes I've used, the lid opens easily and the wipes come out easily too. You also get a lot of these for the money (less than a dollar a pack)
