Blocks out heat and creates privacy

I bought one of these for a bamboo curtain hanging over a window that gets all the sunlight at the end of the day. It works well, but installing those little plastic hooks is confusing for me and the instructions aren't all that clear. I guess I should read other people's reviews to see if they have the same problem and solutions! So the film hangs under my blinds until I lift them halfway. I haven't attached the hooks yet, which fell off. I think it's good that my neighbors can no longer look into our dining room. 😉
