Review on 12 Oz Jason Dandruff Relief Treatment Shampoo - Effective Solution for Dandruff by Paula Reid

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I don't know how it used to be, but it definitely works now!

For 5-10 years I have been struggling with seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp and blemishes on my face. It's probably diet related as I've noticed flare-ups after not-so-tasty food (who could ever be the best?). I started using the product in 2019 after Head and Shoulders stopped working the way it used to. I'm also a little skeptical about using T-Gel given the ingredients it's made from. I've been a long time fan of Jason products and use their face cream and toothpaste. I like that the company uses high quality and natural ingredients. As I mentioned in the title, I have not used this product in the past and cannot speak to rumors of ingredient changes. I will say that the shampoo does not have a pleasant smell, but not necessarily repulsive. I find it has a slightly woody scent. One thing that can put people off is when the shampoo doesn't really lather. That doesn't bother me because I know that the foaming of many shampoos and toothpastes is due to chemical additives. This means that in no case does it increase the effectiveness of the shampoo. I noticed almost immediate results after using the treatment. My scalp is almost completely scaly and the symptoms of dry, itchy, cracked sebum are almost gone. Revain has a good price on this shampoo as I spent $16 at my local health food store.
