Great price

Incredible value. built for safety. I really like the automatic clamping system. huge workspace. Total cutting length 18 inches. CAN'T BEAT THE PRICE. I wanted it to crop 17x17 photos and it does it PERFECTLY. Assembled in less than 5 minutes. even if that. You use the included screwdriver to screw the legs into the pre-drilled pilot holes. Slide the handle onto the cutting arm. Bingbang done. up and cut. It has a sliding guide. but I'm cutting along a predefined edge of the photo, so I won't be using the guide very often. When cutting paper to standard sizes (A3, A4, etc.), the composite wood worktop is clearly marked for multiple sizes. All in all. GREAT VALUE for a well thought out and solidly built system. One thing should be noted. This is NOT a paper cutter. he cuts, "shears" the paper. No sharp edges. not even on the cutting arm. sharp enough to cut skin. This is a very safe cutting system. The cutter arm is INTENTIONALLY curved inward. The purpose of this seems to be to maintain constant pressure and continuous contact between the "CUTTING ARM" and the lower "CUTTING PLATE". I ran my finger along the edge of both. and neither the cutting arm nor the lower cutting plate are sharp. however, it cuts very thick paper as cleanly as a knife blade. Add to that the automatic tensioning system and this is a very safe paper cutter (scissors). Or a few sheets at a time. This product offers fantastic value. Guillotine paper cutters using a traditional sharp "blade" cutter. and do not have an automatic paper holding clamp system. costs four to five times more than this one. When I was shopping I was shocked at how expensive guillotine paper cutters cost. And a lot of emphasis was placed on "sharpness". "Shock blades" and "guards" for the fingers. I'm assuming you won't accidentally lose your fingertip. For LIGHT TASKS. ultra-secure paper cutting system. beautiful . right out of the box. I really like this product.
