Used with a Mavic Air2 controller. So far I have only used a plastic nut. The platform and the levers are made of aluminum. The phone/tablet holder itself is made of plastic. I can use this with my Samsung A20 phone case with poetic phone case. Major advantage. The phone seems to be holding up well so far and there's no sign of loosening after taking the phone in and out a few times. A little difficult at first, but after a few minutes you don't notice it anymore. The angle of the holder is only adjustable on the nut, but when you place the phone at a good angle to see the screen, better than the original controller holder. I decided to buy a longer controller to phone cable to give me a little more wiggle room. I rotate my phone to the other side of the controller connection so the drone's orientation doesn't get messed up. THIS IS THE PROBLEM OF MY PHONE'S COMPASS INTERFERING WITH THE MAGNET INSIDE THE CONTROLLER. I am happy with the purchase. Small chance it will break, I would still buy another one
