Size Warning: The adult standard size vest is designed to support weights up to 90lb. I had to return it and get an oversized adult. Thanks seller. The straps are adjustable so it fits well and is better for busty ladies. This is normal for a paddleboard because you are standing, it has low armrests and it feels like it sits well in a chair like a boat. BUT for the kayak, since it was mid-thigh on me, when I sat down it moved closer to my ears, which was uncomfortable. I had to undo the bottom buckle to pull it down. Some models also have thicker back padding. What else to consider when choosing a vest for kayaking. It's not too thick, just too long for me. So I went to Walmart, tried on a few and found a medium waist length for use in a kayak, $15, and got in store first. I'd recommend going into the store and trying on a few different types to see how they fit and get a feel for how you're going to use them, and then if you want to find a good deal go back to revenge I also learned that life jackets are designed for different activities. Some are for shallow, calm water while others are for water sports like skiing, tubing, etc. So consider using it. Much luck. Have a nice and safe summer!
