Review on Ceiling Dimmable Lighting Bathroom Temperatures by Ibraheem Burna

I am renovating my RV and have replaced (or added) most of the lights in it, but this light served a special purpose for my lighting needs. The master bedroom has an external wired connection to the ceiling light (see installation in the first picture. Terrible, isn't it?), but the light switch is on the opposite wall from the front door. So I needed a device with a remote control to turn on and off the light near the door. I bought one with a remote, but it had an infrared (IR) remote that couldn't control the device without pointing the remote almost directly at the device (and it didn't work from the wall, which I wanted). I sent the device back and bought this one. The problem is solved! Equipped with a powerful radio frequency (RF) remote control, this device works from anywhere in the room and does not need to be pointed at the device at all. It also came with a wall mount for a remote control, which the previous device didn't have. So I set it up and it's been working great for a week now. The remote itself isn't particularly attractive, but it gets the job done and is easy to use. There are five Kelvin rating settings and four brightness settings, all adjustable via the remote control. I like around 4500K Kelvin (I really don't like 2700K or 3000K) but it's nice to be able to crank it up to daylight (6000K) if you want to. The lamp is quite big so keep that in mind. I love the design of the light fixture and the fact that the entire outside edge is not flush with the ceiling made it ideal for external wiring (in the last picture you can see the outer wire form running under the light fixture's frame). Delivery was slightly delayed but the company emailed me about this and it was by no means a deal breaker and the packaging was very good with thick cardboard and well thought out styrofoam. I would definitely buy it again, even for a room with no external wiring because of the RF remote control. There aren't many standard remote controlled lights (many ceiling fans but not standard bulbs) and even fewer with RF remotes. This light is attractive (to me), versatile and powerful.
