Bought to replace an old cracked glass ceiling light. It was easy to install on old jigs that were already there, just a little fiddling to make sure it was tight and didn't wobble. Just make sure you use soft pads on both sides and the screw that comes with the kit and you're good to go. It will fit almost any old mount because to be honest, these types of standard mounts haven't changed for at least a thousand years. I was able to replace the old lights with new ones because they were almost the same as the ones that were already over 30 years old, but I only needed one shade.
