Review on 🔆 BUBO LED Retrofit Light Kits - 8" Overall Size, 25W, Bright White 4000K, CRI90, 2500lm, Dimmable Module for Ceiling Light, Fan Light, Pendant, Lantern - 1 Pack by Charmaine Murray

Purchased to be converted into a ceiling fan with two screw base lamp holders. It worked well, but was significantly dimmer than two 75W LED bulbs with screw bases. I would use 100w LEDs but they are physically too big. The kit comes with a screw adapter which I need and it comes in handy. There are several mounting options - none worked very well for my use (what with lamp holders) and the magnets built into the corners are too weak - they can't hold the unit sideways to a metal filing cabinet, for example. I suspect the design called for better magnets, but the supplier replaced them with inferior quality ones. Of course, you could just buy four better magnets. A problem with all these LED modules is the nominal light output. This one claims the equivalent of "200 watts" and clearly isn't. It claims 2500 lumens, which I think is also optimistic. I'd say the 4000K color rating is spot on - not very warm but not the rich white that 5000K lamps offer.
