I think this is a pretty good product. As advertised, you apply it thickly and take it off and it colors your lips. The stain is quite difficult to apply. It comes out of the tube with an almost sticky texture and dries quickly on the lips. You have to work fast to get a smooth application. Because you apply it in a thicker layer than other lipsticks, the tube really doesn't last as long, which is a bit of a shame considering the price. It has a specific smell, like cough medicine. Once you remove the packaging, the outer layer of skin on your lips is completely soiled. The color does not transfer and lasts as long as the outer shell. So if your lips are chapped and flaky, the color will come off in patches. On the other hand, if you exfoliate your lips first, the color will last longer. The exfoliating process is somewhat drying, so I would recommend a follow-up with your chosen lip balm/moisturizer. This color is slightly reddish with a berry tinge. Since the stain is transparent, it combines with the color of the lips to create a pinkish-red color. It looks relatively natural, which I like.
