Like most wooden objects that are easy to assemble at home these days, don't try to move it by holding it by the upper lip or pull or push on the sides. Because the floor is one piece and has multiple gaps for your hands to slide through, this is the best way to move it around when you change the position of the furniture. If you're actually moving into a new house, it might be better to take it apart than put it back together and just leave the doors bolted to the sides. If you move it over carpet, it's ok. Along some other flooring, you can add something to the corners that will help it slide without scratching the bottom of the bench base.
