Really thought I liked this lock. I've owned one for 18 months and have ordered several. Big mistake. I've noticed some people complain that the lock is rusting and can't be removed, I empathize. I currently have a lock on my caravan door that I can't remove, the key turns fine but the pin doesn't fall off, I've tried pulling it down several times with the key turned and the lock unlocked but had no success. The outside of the lock was also rusty, remember this trailer has been in the garage for all but 4 months out of 18. Obviously locks aren't meant to be on the outside? very disappointed with the poor quality. Seems like they should make a lock that doesn't have this problem, all 6 of my locks are rusty but I only have one that doesn't work, the rest of the lock doesn't work with the key. I will not buy these again, I have had no problems with other brands.
