I have dogs in my home and have used this product almost every day for many years. With every canine "accident" I don't bother with a cleaner at all, I just wipe the mess up with paper towels and then use Advanced Nature's Miracle to "clean up" the area. On hard floors, I use a spray and paper towels to mop up any remaining urine or feces, another spray and mop to remove residue, and a third light spray that I let dry on the floor. My apartment never smells like dogs. I use it on hardwood floors, vinyl floors and porcelain tile. I've also used it successfully on carpet stains - blot as much dirt as possible first, then saturate the ANM area and leave for a few minutes, then blot away the moisture with lots of folded paper towels - - that's a standout soak up moisture. I have used this product to treat some pretty nasty stains very successfully. Sometimes it takes a few uses to saturate and blot the carpet, but I've never had a stain or odor that I couldn't get rid of. I recently used it in a situation that seemed hopeless to me and ANM still worked. I live in an old house in a semi-rural area. When the weather was muggy the downstairs bedroom had an odor that I couldn't get rid of and it turned out that many generations of mice were housed in the wall between the drywall and the foundation. The foundation in this room was half-height (with windows at floor level) so a shelf was built halfway up the wall of the foundation, running the full length of the outer wall, and it turned out that the original construction technique called for a "Superhighway" where mice could walk on the foundation and fall between ALL the posts, not just one spot. We had to remove all of the dry stone walls and I was horrified to find that mice had been living there for decades. It took so long for the accumulated smell of mouse urine to finally seep into the drywall. The dirt they left behind was overwhelming. We removed and threw away all drywall. All that's left is the concrete foundation and the wooden studs holding the drywall. Feces and urine formed puddles of dried resin on both the horizontal and vertical surfaces of wood and concrete. It was a daunting project, but I really didn't want to burn down the house and start over. I scraped off as much as I could with a spatula, then worked on small areas at a time, sprayed on Advanced Nature's Miracle thoroughly, scrubbed like Dickens with a stiff brush, then blotted up the disgusting mess with paper towels and repeated the process. At the end of the day I sprayed the entire concrete and wood surface to saturation and let it dry overnight. The next day I repeated the whole procedure. It was a lot of work, but in the end I almost completely eliminated the mouse smell. You didn't smell it when you walked into the room and you could only smell it if you stuck your nose right into the tree. The wooden spikes that looked almost black from mouse droppings now looked mostly like regular wood. We achieved it and I figured a few coats of primer would do the job. I put a fan on it and dried it thoroughly for several days. After that I applied 3 coats of Kilz Maximum Primer and let it dry for 24 hours between coats. At the end of this test absolutely no stains remained on the primer and not the slightest trace of mice remained. The foundation and studs were hospital white and everything smelled clean and fresh. Absolutely amazing transformation. Advanced Natures Miracle works but you have to follow the instructions. It sometimes takes a bit of effort to get it working, but it's effective if you let it soak into whatever contains the scent so it can do its job. Sometimes you have to repeat the process, but if you're looking for a clean, fresh space, Advanced Nature's Miracle is definitely the way to go.
