When I was younger and in college, I sold bones to anatomists. So all I have to compare is the cost and the quality of these bones versus these. I can say that these bones are not as strong as these, but they are a lot cheaper. At these prices, a student or practitioner can afford to buy several different sets such as elbows, knees, etc. This arm has a lot of small protrusions due to how it's made that would need to be cut or sanded to make it better. There are also some loose extrusions that can be easily snapped off for removal. Other than that, this is a great economical hand model for study or practice.
