My experience with this product was disappointing. In truth, the "TP-LINK" AC1750 wireless router outperformed the "Amped Tap-r3" in my 2000 square foot home. This is a test comparison and bad results; made me conclude that "Tap-r3" was nothing more than a sales ad for an untested entry-level device. Despite supposedly amplified radios, this left a lot to be desired in the unscheduled field tests that take place at my home. My cinder block and concrete house weakened signals from previously tested wireless routers; from Linksys to Comtrend. So I was hopeful when I bought the relatively expensive Amped router for a whopping $199.99. If there was an express guarantee I would sue for a refund.
