Review on Wi-Fi router TP-LINK Archer C5, white by Jnis Krsli ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Nothing ordinary, a normal product.

The 5GHz Wi-Fi connection is continuously losing strength, which is particularly annoying during network shooters because the signal goes throughout those games. If you have tried connecting multiple times without success, you will need to restart the router. I contacted the service that provides support, sent precise configurations, and carried out the steps in accordance with the instructions; nevertheless, this did not resolve the issue. The Wi-Fi signal is poor, despite there being 4 antennae in a one-room apartment. When installed in one corner of the apartment (in the corridor), the indication lowers by half; installing it in the other corner of the apartment has the opposite effect. Signal strength is improved and frequency stability is maintained by Chinese balalaikas that have been issued by telecom carriers. Even though there is a USB connector and the ability to attach a network disk, a torrent client is not included. Network connectors - gigabit - if you need a high-speed home network for four devices - then it's quite for yourself, if there are more devices, then there's no point in this (against the background of the fact that in the regions few people have Internet at least 50 Mbps, I won't say for the centers). If you have more than four devices, then it's quite for yourself. Due to the fact that losing Wi-Fi completely ruins the experience, I do not advocate making a purchase.

Pros
  • Ports capable of Gigabit Ethernet, two bands, and USB
Cons
  • Wi-Fi 5GHz keeps going out, Wi-Fi power is weak

A swear word, not a router
