A simple controller for my SATA NGFF m.2 SSD collection works well enough for my needs. See the full specs I've listed, this is NOT for PCIE or NVME devices and I'm willing to bet most of them couldn't get it to work using those different standards and reviews with iD10t -should have removed bugs. Other than that it's the usual cheap fee and yes they may have received a DOA and I'm sure the seller will refund/replace. and yes all these standards can be confusing, just double check you are ordering what you need. My unit is slightly misaligned, but that doesn't prevent either pin from touching and doing its job. Upon closer inspection, I noticed a perforation that allows you to snap off an unused portion of the board if you don't need the full length of the 80mm screw. and the extra screws that came with mine gave me confidence that this unit would make a great workbench for some of my recovery operations.
